Days for Girls
Days for Girls is a volunteer run organisation that provides reusable menstrual pad kits and menstrual health training through enterprises and workshops. I worked as a Days for Girls Ambassador in January 2018, to provide a menstrual health workshop as part of a larger Women’s Conference and Medical camp in Padmanabham, Andhra Pradesh, India. We provided just over 60 menstrual health kits to the community, hand sewn by Days for Girls volunteers from NSW Australia, including the Days for Girls West Wollongong NSW Team.
